Un año más, nos complace anunciar nuestra participación en la VirtualJaneCon, que es un fin de semana en línea lleno de Austen, donde hay discusiones desde el vestuario de la Regencia hasta debates más académicos sobre las obras de Austen y la historia de la época. Este año Carmen participa junto a Claire Saim, de Jane Austen Lost in France con «Hello, Mademoiselle Austen«, que es un intercambio entre una austenita francesa y una española, hablando de la recepción de Jane Austen en ambos idiomas, así como la influencia de la escritora y sus obras en otras culturas que no son de habla inglesa. Se hará desde París con mucho cariño, desde donde os hareá un recorrido muy especial. El vídeo estará en inglés, pero con subtítulos en francés y español. Está filmado por amor y talento por @audrina.etc.

One more year, we are happy to announce our participation in the VirtualJaneCon, which is an Austen-filled weekend online, where there are discussions from Regency costuming to more academic debates on Austen’s works and period. It’s a fun, wide-ranging event that encapsulates the myriad interests and talents of the Jane Austen community, while remaining online and free to see, making it accessible to fans with access to social media platforms. All programming will be posted and hosted on YouTube on 13th and 14th July.
This year, Carmen participates along with Claire Saim, from Jane Austen Lost in France with «Hello, Mademoiselle Austen», which is an exchange between a French Janeite and a Spanish one, talking about the reception of Jane Austen in both languages, as well as the influence of the writer and her works in other cultures that are not English speaking. It will be done from Paris with love, from where they will make you a very special tour. The video will be hosted in English, but with French and Spanish subtitles. It is filmed with love and talent by @audrina.etc.
